The Bible is full of warnings about false teachers and preachers who have infiltrated the church (2 Peter 2: 1-2). They are called the "antichrists" (1 John 2: 18). They will bring in destructive doctrines and heresies. Watch out, be alert and watchful.
In the Bible-Presbyterian Church we have seen extreme teachings like some people who advocate VPP. These people teach that the King James Version (KJV) is the only Bible God gave to the English speaking world. They also say that God has preserved the Manuscripts underlining the KJV to be "inspired". Hence, the KJV is the "perfect" Bible and all other translations are corrupt. Such teachings are dangerous and it could lead to heresy.
Gracians, we must be mindful that the church will always face such extreme or heretical teachings. These people will try their best to infiltrate the church and if they ever get into the church, there will be great confusion and trouble.
Let us keep ourselves faithful to the Word of God.

A good soldier of Christ in times of apostasy.
1Co 4:20 For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.
2Ti 2:14 Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.
1Ti 6:4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings.
λογομαχίας disputes of word, “strive with words”: “not to have a (mere) war of words” (2Ti_2:23, 2Ti_2:24; 1Ti_6:4) where the most vital matters are at stake (2Ti_2:17, 2Ti_2:18; Act_18:15).
To strive and contend for the form of sound words, for the wholesome words or doctrines of our Lord Jesus, but not about mere words, and especially such as were to no profit; to no advantage to truth, nor to themselves nor others; were not to edification, to spiritual edification, to godly edifying, which is in faith:
Words, not things, have been a most fruitful source of contention in the Christian world; and among religious people, the principal cause of animosity has arisen from the different manner of apprehending the same term, while, in essence, both meant the same thing. All preachers and divines should be very careful, both in speaking and writing, to explain the terms they use, and never employ them in any sense but that in which they have explained them.
O how many unnecessary things are thus unprofitably, nay hurtfully, contended for.
Some professors of religion are like vessels of wood and earth. When the vessels of dishonour are cast out to be destroyed, the others will be filled with all the fulness of God. We must see to it that we are holy vessels. Every one in the church whom God approves, will be devoted to his Master's service, and thus fitted for his use. (Matthew Henry)
Charging . . . that they strive not about words. We see proofs in both letters to Timothy that the idle speculations which did the church such damage a little later had already begun.
Strifes of words are very destructive to the things of God. That they strive not about words to no profit. If people did but consider of what little use most of the controversies in religion are, they would not be so zealous in their strifes of words, to the subverting of the hearers, to the drawing of them away from the great things of God, and occasioning unchristian heats and animosities, by which truth is often in danger of being lost. Observe, People are very prone to strive about words, and such strifes never answer any other ends than to shake some and subvert others; they are not only useless, but they are very hurtful, and therefore ministers are to charge the people that they do not strive about words, and they are most likely to be regarded when they charge them before the Lord, that is, in his name and from his word; when they produce their warrant for what they say. - Study to show thyself approved unto God, 2Ti_2:15.
Tongue Speaking
1 Cor. 14:2 Speaks not to men but to God indicates that Paul views tongues as a form of prayer and praise, but in a language that the speaker does not understand. No one understands him implies that Paul expected tongues in Corinth in most cases to be unknown languages, unlike the evangelistic situation in Acts 2:1–13.

Let us love
1Jn 3:18 Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth. (ESV)

We are now still quarreling for "word" and "tongue," But John say we are to love in deed and in truth!
John does not condemn kind words which are comforting and cheering, but warm words should be accompanied by warm deeds to make real “in deed and in truth” (en ergōi kai alētheiāi). Here is a case where actions do speak louder than mere words and tongue speaking!
In such acts as shall show that our professed love is sincere and real. Let us do the deed of love, whether anything is said about it or not.

About tongue speaking in B-P Churches
Mark 16:17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues;
The tongue in Corinthian Church is the new tongues, the tongue in Acts is the old tongues!
1Co 12:28 And God has appointed in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, helping, administrating, and various kinds of tongues.
There were and are various kinds of tongues, so, Charismatic tongue speaking is a kind of tongue!

Life Bible Presbyterian Church is now fighting with Far Eastern Bible College, verbally and spiritually, they are indulge in close range warfare. It is sad to see these things happened to Christians.
What I can say is, they are still human. Easily fallen in sin.

We have ordinary hard head fundamentalists, I called them the funny mentalist.
Their arrogance with their man-made VPP-KJV-only theory.
They want every one to talk and walk like them.
First step they probably take on you: they will try to turn over you, they want to brain wash you to accept their funnymental, VPP-KJV-only. They want you to respect them at the same time.
If you reject their view at this point of time.
They will take the Second step: they try to stay away some distances from you, but they are still warning you. Hoping you will repent from sin of rejecting their "truth"
If you still reject them at this point of time.
They will take the third step: they will try to say to you, "stay away from us," and they will call your name names, like "Neo-Evangelical, liberals, modernist...."

They will take the forth step: they will see you like seeing ghosts, they treat you as an unbeliever.
They probably will take the last stand to ask you to leave fundamentalists alone, they want you to avoid criticize them, do not touch them, be silent and serve the Lord as usual...and it is suggested to me by these funny mentalist, it is better for me to leave fundamentalism, since I do not like fundamentalism so much, just leave fundamentalism, go away and take another stand like Evangelical or Neo-Evangelical...They indirectly said to me, "I do not like to see your face in fundamental circle!"
I had met many of these funny mentalist in Bible Presbyterian Churches, still they want some respects from us in the end after all those unnecessary squabbles!
They like to say to every one, "For you cannot do anything against our truth, but only for the truth."

You may say my blog is so unedifying, but did you ask the most crucial question, "Can Bible Presbyterian Churches edify people?"
Some Bible Presbyterian Churches do edify people in Biblical doctrines and way of worshiping and witnessing. But many Bible Presbyterian Churches do not edify people at all...Many Bible Presbyterian Churches as I know, persecuted servants of the Lord silently.
The elders and pastors of these churches let some pastors, stave to death spiritually! They sabotaged and isolated some of the old pastors until they die silently in shame. History tells again and again, they did that, they still do that until today. This is why I continue to refute Far Eastern Bible College and Bible Presbyterian Churches until today.
Many of the servants of the Lord, died of unhappiness, due to long hours of in fighting among themselves, there is no reconciliation until they died, so sad. One of the example is, an old pastor told me before he dies, he told me how sad he was, how unhappy he was, how regret he was, seeing so much hatred in Bible Presbyterian Churches, how disappointed he was to serve in Bible Presbyterian Church, to be mistreated many times by elders and pastors in Bible Presbyterian Churches circles! He sacrificed his life for Bible Presbyterian Churches, but Bible Presbyterian elders and pastors did not love him, even do not appreciate him, as one of the servant serving together in Bible Presbyterian Churches. Elder and pastor have problems in their relationship! They just do not know how to relate with one to another in love!
I prayed to God, to do something in Bible Presbyterian Churches, no matter what it's cost, it must be done urgently, before it is too late! Some old good pastors were isolated in their life time, if they can die in peace, let them die at least with a little dignity!
Lord Jahweh, our Savour and God, please hear my cry, for the evil is so great in these churches, please uphold your servants, may you grant love in Bible Presbyterian Churches. I pray in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Land Marks
The Old Testament says, how good it is for brothers to dwell in peace!
Verbal Plenary Preservation has broken that bond of peace!
Our Goodness is found in Jesus Christ only!
God gave Eden for Adam and Eve, this is the first landmark! Adam and Eve later had sinned against the Lord, they had been chased out from Eden, the landmark of Eden was erased for ever.
God promised Abraham a piece of land, and He gave him the promised land, this was another land mark, later Israel was divided, divided into north and south, after they disobeyed the Lord! This landmark changed and removed from time to time! Landmarks changed by man's rebellious when they sinned against the Lord.
The Israelites killed some prophets and husbandman of God! Until today the promised land is still occupied by others, and the landmarks was changed from the beginning of first kingdom until now. The landmark's border never been fixed yet even today!
There are so many Bible colleges being closed down here and there, and there are so many new Bible Colleges being set up here and there. There is up and down, do not take pride for Far Eastern Bible College in Singapore, God can rise up another one, even from the stone can comes out a praise, even a shout for the Lord!
God want us to dwell in peace, and not to take pride in a single Bible College, or a bit of idea like Verbal Plenary Preservation. (VPP)
The tongue issue had split the church once, and now, vpp again taken some of us into divisions and fights!
Why let a single man broken the bond in the Spirit, a false theologian has broken the Bible Presbyterian's unity. And he let all the church members suffered for him! This is called Selfish ambition!
Flesh and blood is this I called, I was joking in vain, how one day we become like one of those gangster, taking a stone and wanting to stone the false theologian! But stopped, stoning is against the teaching in the Bible, so do not stone any false theologian! Hurting others is a criminal act, so we have to stop stoning anyone!
Jesus even submit His Soul into the hands of God the Father, why can't we submit the Bible College to God, and dwell in peace! And put down that VPP, and do not let VPP put us down.
How sad to see brother to fight in the high court, and the Bible College taken the place of the Lord.
For sure the land marks will changes from time to time!

The disputes of a landmark
Deuteronomy 19:14
Thou shalt not remove thy neighbour's landmark, which they of old time have set in thine inheritance, which thou shalt inherit in the land that the LORD thy God giveth thee to possess it.
Directions is given to fix landmarks in Canaan. It is the will of God that every one should know his own; and that means should be used to hinder the doing and suffering of wrong. This, without doubt, is a moral precept, and still binding. Let every man be content with his own lot, and be just to his neighbours in all things. (De 19:15-21) (Matthew Henry's Concise Commentary )
I think in the context of the whole Old Testament, the landmark must be preserved in the first place like the Garden of Aden, The Canaan, the Israelite Davidic Kingdom and so on.
Because of sin, the one and only Garden of Aden vanished, the promised land was divided, and so it too divided into north and south. But at last God overruled all these landmarks from time to time! Even God allowed the Assyria and Babylon taken captived the people from Israel and Judah. And they lost that piece of land for some time. Until in 1948, the landmark was returned to Israelites, but that land mark too may changed from time to time, until today there are disputes.
Proverbs 22:28
Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set...(commentary from mattew henry), "We are taught not to trespass on another man's right. And it is hard to find a truly industrious man. Such a man will rise. Seest thou a man diligent in the business of religion? He is likely to excel. Let us then be diligent in God's work." (Matthew Henry's Concise Commentary)
Is Verbal Plenary Preservation a business of religion or personal gain? It is in God's work? How many landmarks do you want on the way home to heaven? We needed wisdom! God does not encourage us to quarrel for any landmark in New Testament, but He commanded us to go into "the end of the world" and make disciples!

I think in the context of the whole Old Testament, the landmark must be preserved in the first place like the Garden of Aden, The Canaan, the Israelite Davidic Kingdom and so on.
Because of sin, the one and only Garden of Aden vanished, the promised land was divided, and so it too divided into north and south. But at last God overruled all these landmarks from time to time! Even God allowed the Assyria and Babylon taken captived the people from Israel and Judah. And they lost that piece of land for some time. Until in 1948, the landmark was returned to Israelites, but that land mark too may changed from time to time, until today there are disputes.
Proverbs 22:28
Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set...(commentary from mattew henry), "We are taught not to trespass on another man's right. And it is hard to find a truly industrious man. The devil came to tempt Jesus Christ to change the stone into bread and eat it, but the Lord rejected its temptation and saying that we are to live by the Word of God.

Those "stones" can be "dishonest gains," what are those dishonest gains?
Those are things, properties or money gain from stealings, cheatings and a lot more like gamblings, drug trafficking, human salavering, corruptions and so on.
If we know those activities are actually not good in the first place, then we should not take those money gained from those activities later, we have nothing to do with dishonest gains! Nor we encourage men to indulge in those vices and crimes!
Ezekiel saw a vision, even dry bones were resurrected to be living men, so that is why the Bible says we have to live by faith!
Correction instills and increases an understanding of right and wrong, as it teaches that human behavior has moral consequences.

But sad to see, so called "truth" has been used to destroy one another!

Kiss and betrayal
On that night of betrayal, Judas kissed Jesus Christ to betray Him, and sold Jesus Christ for 30 pieces of silvers.
Kiss is a sign of love and a sign of tenderness. Betrayal is cruel and a sign of harshness. But Judas used both at the same time. Those false theologians are like Judas.
