Calvinist and love

And now abideth faith, hope and charity, these three, but the greatest is charity. (1 Cor 13:13)

Faith is enlisted first in these 3 words. But the greatest is love!

Faith comes from hearing God's Word, "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." (Romans 10:17) We believe the Bible is the very and inspired Word of God, it is important to hear the Word of God! And to teach the Word of God correctly.

The Word of God is needed!

But, listen carefully, how important is love, compare to hearing the Word of God, the greater is love, the greatest commandment is loving God and second greatest is loving man. The Greatest sin in the world is lack of love to God and man.

Love is needed far most!

Hearing the Word of God is important, please put after charity, and some choose to pursue a perfect underlying text until they hate one another and sue one another in civil court, this is hurting the body of Christ. But they put up a show of devotion and mixed with fist in the church, they are not the street fighters but they are the church fighter! Fighting in the church! Spiritually!

After faith, enlisted hope, hoping the second coming of the Messiah, this is a hope, not a worry for tomorrow, hope, for things unseen, rather than seen and temporary in the world. Hope in Christ.

Hope is needed!

The Word is nigh thee, in your mouth.......which we preach.....that word is "...if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

So tenderly speak to yourself, "I do not need a perfect underlying text in Greek and Hebrew, I do not need the perfect text! I can live better without the perfect underlying text, say this in your heart and hears." How great is God's love compare with my little faith!

"I do not need these perfect KJV only. The VPP is not needed, the perfect underlying text is not needed, the perfect TR is not needed. Say this aloud! Say this to your friend, say this again and again, the greatest sin is lack of love! This is about our heart situation. I am not lack of any Bible verses! We need all the Bible verses, still love is greatest.

"Whosoever beliveth on him shall not be ashamed" (Romans 10:11) Shall ashame of our CUV, NIV, NKJV?

In other place in the gospel, The Word of God had been sown to the four types of soils, but only the good ground, come the good tree and bear good fruits! Do not blame the Word of God and the sower! Or how much seeds had been sown in.

And then, in another place, Paul said, "I have planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase." (1 Cor 3:6) Is Paul more important in the increase? Is Apollos another important factor in the increase? No, But God is!

The church building is not mine, the Bible college is not mine, the country is not mine, my money is not mine, everything there, they are not belong to me, they belong to God, if the things belong to God, please return to God, if the thing belong to the Caesar, then return them to Caesar, the church people is not mine, they are God's people! If any one wanted to take them away, we must say, "go ahead," and we say again, "may God bless you, we give the blessing." Since God is taking care of everything. Are you a Calvinist? Not one can pluck the believer away from the hands of God! Be very sure!

We are only a servant of God, faithfully serving the Lord. Teaching the right doctrine! Peter said, "feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly......and NEITHER AS BEING LORDS OVER GOD'S HERITAGE!" (1 Peter 5:1-3).

Stewardship is given to you, not ownership. The Owner is Christ. We must rightly dividing the Word of God, but do not forget the greatest is love!

If I am lack of love, lukewarm! What happened, vomited out? (Rev 3:16-19)

How great is my love compare to God's love?

Mother tongue and our first language

The term "mother tongue" should not be interpreted to mean that it is the language of one's mother. In some paternal societies, the wife moves in with the husband and thus may have a different first language, or dialect, than the local language of the husband. Yet their children usually only speak their local language. Only a few will learn to speak their mothers' languages like natives. Mother in this context probably originated from the definition of mother as source, or origin; as in mother-country or -land.

In some countries such as Kenya and India, "mother tongue" is used to indicate the language of one's ethnic group (ethnic tongue), in both common and journalistic parlance (e.g. 'I have no apologies for not learning my mother tongue', rather than one's first language. A similar usage of the term was employed in Ireland in the early-to-mid twentieth century, with Irish being referred to as the "mother tongue" of all Irish people, even of those whose first language was English. Also in Singapore, "mother tongue" refers to the language of one's ethnic group regardless of actual proficiency, while the "first language" refers to the English language, which is the lingua franca for most post-independence Singaporeans due to its use as the language of instruction in government schools and as a working language despite it not being a native tongue for most Singaporeans.

International Mother Language Day Monument in Sydney, Australia, unveiling ceremony, 19 February 2006

J. R. R. Tolkien in his 1955 lecture English and Welsh distinguishes the "native tongue" from the "cradle tongue", the latter being the language one happens to learn during early childhood, while one's true "native tongue" may be different, possibly determined by an inherited linguistic taste, and may later in life be discovered by a strong emotional affinity to a specific dialect (Tolkien personally confessed to such an affinity to the Middle English of the West Midlands in particular).

21 February has been proclaimed the International Mother Language Day by UNESCO on 17 November 1999.

"quoted from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mother_tongue"

Do not forget our mother tongue....your first language is English, then there are also perfect hokkien? perfect hakka? perfect teochiew? are we perfectionist? Perfect Telugu, perfect Malayam, perfect Irish, perfect Hebrew, perfect Greek, do you mean every languages are preserved perfectly throughout ages, no mistake had been done in translation and interpretation in the KJV! Why there were revisions? Did they claim perfection in translating the KJV in 1611?

What is our mother tongue anyway?

Dancing, crying?

The Bible said, this generation is compare to what? Are We lack of Bible in this generation? Or are we lack of music, or are we lack of mourning?

"We blow the flute, but you do not want to dance, and ask you to mourn, but you do not want to cry..." (Luke 7:31-34)

You wanted a perfect Bible, you quarrel about this VPP, until to the civil court,,,wait and see, until you lost all Bible, then you know it is too late to cry....why not give thank for the Bible you are reading now....why you go and attack brothers in Christ who are reading the CUV and NKJV Bible? Are you jealous because they are reading the CUV, not the KJV?

Do not think you are more spiritual because you can read and write some spiritual books or articles, here and there! Do not think highly about ourselves when we are not so spiritual, do not think we can pretend to be spiritual by arguing about the perfection of the underlying text of the KJV! Do not think we are better than those generations, if we do not have Christ, we perish!

I do not think that I am becoming some body, in writing this blog, the question is that are we reminding each other, are we Christian? We have faith? We have work? We have word? Are we growing? Are we happier, are we better? Is BP's unity had been strengthen or destroyed in the doctrine of VPP? This is more important, is VPP glorified God or not?

Anyway, let dance if there is music around! Mourn and cry, you rich people, who do not contend in the Lord!

Think! Tomorrow I die!

I am thinking of a way to live a happy life today, "What if tomorrow I die, if i knew tomorrow I will died, how to live today? I will take every minute today as gold, I will treasure my life today, because tomorrow I will die, so, I will give thank for the life I have today, so today let me rejoice in the Lord, Adonai, I rejoice in You today, if tomorrow I die, I die! But I will live my life today happily, I will live my life happily without any worry, because tomorrow I will die, so be happy today!"
Everyday living as tomorrow I will die, I have no worry and care anymore!

The New Year

New Year 2009 is arrived, and we have to do a clean up, to throw away the rubbish, throw away the dust, throw away the contaminated materials in our store room, let the fresh air blew in our living room. So that we may not become crazy with the past.

The Bible said let us forget the past, those passed issue like perfect Bible Texts, let them shrink down the carpet, let the bone underlays in the tomb, let the spiritual man continue to live according to the Spirit.

Beware of those unkind medical doctors, especially those unkind doctor of theology, here I show up some song for them, I hope they can dance when heard these Jewish Songs.

Let the wind of change blew into their mind in 2009! Beware there are great and powerful winds coming toward, car and building can be flown away!

If the oil price continue to rise, let us take the flying Toyota, balloon with helium within, and we fly to the sky with electronic engines....

The great wars

The war is near, and there will be deaths, these deaths cannot be avoided in warfare, unless we are living in peace, then there will be no death. There will be war, many great wars, until they surrender, and they agree to sign an agreement for peace. There is a peace for a time, there is a war for a time, and then they make a greater war.

An example of Statement of Faith

To build a church with a strong spiritual atmosphere of faith and purity,
where every member is released into ministry, discipled in the Great Commandment to obey the Great Commission.

The fundamental teachings of this congregation are reflected in the following clear statements of faith:

1. We believe in the plenary-verbal inspiration of the accepted canon of scriptures as originally given. The scriptures are infallible, inerrant and the sole and final authority for all matters of faith and conduct.
(2 Timothy 3:16; 1 Corinthians 2:13)

2. We believe in the eternal Godhead who has revealed Himself as one God existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, distinguishable but indivisible.
(Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14)

3. We believe in the creation, test and fall of man as recorded in Genesis; his total spiritual depravity and inability to attain to divine righteousness.
(Romans 5:12, 18)

4. We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Savior of men, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born by the Virgin Mary, very God and very Man.
(Luke 1:26-35; John 1:14-18; Isaiah 7:14; 9:6)

5. We believe Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day, and personally appeared unto His disciples.
(1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Romans 4:25)

6. We believe in the bodily ascension of Jesus to heaven, His exaltation and personal, literal and bodily coming again the second time for His Church.
(John 14:2-3; and 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)

7. We believe in the salvation of sinners by grace, through repentance and faith in the perfect and sufficient work of the cross of Calvary by which we obtain remission of sins.
(Ephesians 2:8-9; Hebrews 9:12, 22; Romans 5:11)

8. We believe in the necessity of water baptism by immersion in the name of the eternal Godhead in order to fulfill the command of the Lord Jesus Christ.
(Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:34-36; 19:1-6)

9. We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit as a real experience at or subsequent to salvation, with the scriptural evidence, namely, speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.
(Acts 2:1-4; 8:14-17; 10:44-45; Galatians 3:14-15)

10. We believe in the operation of the gifts and ministries of the Spirit as enumerated in 1 Corinthians 12-14 and Ephesians 4, as manifested in the early Church.

11. We believe in the Spirit-filled life, a life of separation from the world and perfecting of holiness in the fear of God as expressing the true Christian faith.
(Ephesians 5:18; 2 Corinthians 6:14; 7:1)

12. We believe in the healing of the body by Divine power, or Divine healing in its varied aspects as practised in the early Church (Acts 4:30; Romans 8:11; 1 Corinthians 12:9; James 5:14) and by deliverance in the name of Jesus.
(Mark 16:17)

13. We believe in the table of the Lord, commonly called the Communion or the Lord's Supper, for believers.
(1 Corinthians 11:28-32; Matthew 26:26-28)

14. We believe in the reality and personality of the Devil and eternal judgment in the Lake of Fire for the Devil and his angels.
(Matthew 25:41; Revelation 20:14-15)

15. We believe in the eternal life for believers (John 5:24; 3:16), and eternal punishment for the unbelievers.
(Mark 9:43-48; 2 Thessalonians 1:9; Revelation 20:10-15)

16. We believe that there is one true universal Church, made up of genuine believers, but this one universal Church is also composed of many local Churches in given localities. These Churches are under the sovereign headship of the Lord Jesus Christ, exercising autonomous government under Him, administering all its local affairs and ministry, as well as the propagation of the gospel.
(Acts 15:22; Matthew 16:18; 18:15-20)

17. We believe that Government is ordained of God, and the powers that be are ordained as ministers of God to us for good. To resist the powers and the ordinances is to resist the ordinance of God. We are subject not only for wrath sake but for conscience sake, rendering to all their dues, custom to whom custom, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor. We declare our loyalty to our Government and its leaders, and will assist in every way possible, consistent with our faith in the scriptures as Christian citizens.
(Romans 13)

God is a Healer

There is life and death in our tongues,

Lets use our tongues for good in 2009...

Our biggest problem is not we have no perfect Bible....

But to encourage people to read the Bible, the Very Word of God!

May God heal our spirit, mind and body this moment,

Christmas 2008

Dear Sisters and Brothers,

“Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.” (Luke 2:11-12)

Looking back the past 12 months, it is unfortunate that many have allowed fear to infuse their lives. They were overwhelmed by the fear of extremism and terrorism, the fear of economic recession, the fear of natural disasters and diseases, and the fear of future uncertainties.

But in the midst of these life perplexities, my hope and prayer for us is that we may once again capture the sense of holy fearfulness that the shepherds experienced on that Christmas night more than 2000 years ago. Their feeling of shock and awe was not caused by the explosion of a terrorist’s grenade or the merciless pounding of a cyclone, but by that wonderful announcement made by the angel – “A Saviour is born to you!” They were simply awestruck by the reality that God has made His dwelling among men, full of grace and truth. The Word has become flesh. The Infinite has become an infant.

This December, as we listen again to the proclamation of Christ's birth, it is critical that we hold firm to the foundational message of Christmas – that Jesus is the Immanuel, God with us. In Him, we are longer called to live a life of fear, but of faith. May the Spirit of our Triune God saturates us with that holy fearfulness, and fill our hearts with uncontrollable joy so that we can join the great angelic choir in glorifying and praising God, saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom His favour rest!”

Together with the Executive Council, I wish you and your families, ‘A Joyful Christmas and a Blessed 2009!’ "May the Lord of Peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way.” (2 Thes 3:16)

Shame

There are a lot more reasons 2008 year gone down in shame,

We may be,

ashame, the lawsuit between the theologians and pastors,
ashame, because we did not honor our parents,
ashame, because we are not as perfect as we can,
ashame, when we are quarreling, and the neighbors are listening,
ashame, ashame we are poor and needy...

The devil is like a roaring lion at night,
shouting "shame, shame, shame" onto us.

The Son of God had been mocked and ashamed being nailed and insulted on the cross!
Jesus Christ bears all our shame.

Do not forget,

God value us,
God love us,
God care and bless us,

Have a new and a blessed new year!
