Theses to Far Easten Bible College and Bible Presbyterian Church located in Singapore, year 2021

Out of love for the truth and from a desire to elucidate it.

1. The issue of Wine Drinking has split Bible-Presbyterian Churches, theologically speaking, this is unwise. Some foolish theologians in the USA decades ago, have problems with the bottle issue. The fact we know, the main issue is drunkenness, not the drinking. A bottle of wine has broken the bond of the body of Christ. The church split and then they formed Bible Presbyterian Church. Stupidity without limit, totally refrain people from the wine, they broke the body of Christ. Please refer correctly to John Calvin, many of his writings supporting wine drinking. When you are attacking those brethren who are consuming alcohol, you are attacking John Calvin, in this way, you should not call yourself a Presbyterian Church, you should be called a Pharisees Church.

2. The issue of Tongue-speaking has split Bible-Presbyterian Churches, this is another unwise act. Please study the Bible carefully before judging others who are speaking in an unknown tongue like the Charismatic, there is another tongue in the Corinth church, different from the tongues in Acts, tongues in Acts are human languages like English and Mandarin, the tongue in Corinth speaks not to man, but to God. Please read 1 Corinthians 14: 2, "For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit." Here Paul said, this tongue is not a language, because no one understands them. This is not a language which spoken to men, but to God. Please handle the issue of "tongues and tongue" carefully before you judge the charismatic!

3. The issue of Exorcism has split the Bible-Presbyterian Churches, this is another unwise issue. Satan is not our friend, let us cast Satan and the devil out of the church, together with the false theologians and teachers into the lake of fire in hell. Jesus commanded us to cast out demons in the body of the false theologians and teachers in various seminaries!

4. The issue of interpretation of Gap-Theory of Genesis' 6 days creation, became another quarrel and hot issue among these ministers. Theologically speaking, again this is very childish. Let us open to academic freedom in speech. There is a gap, for example, millions of years between 6 Creation days. Every 24 hours there was a gap of millions of years. Why not?

5. The issue of Bible Version. Stop quarreling about Bible versions, there is no such thing as the King James Version Only, or only KJVism, anti-NIV, stop all this nonsense and foolish argument. God may keep His words in NIV, ESV... etc. Why not? Are you man behaving like God, to judge others who are reading the NIV? I dare not.

6. The issue of personal view becoming Doctrine, and harshly imposing it. There is good intention to defend the Bible, but when it is overdone, it will become a heretic, like Verbal Plenary Preservation (VPP), only the spiritual man can understand the spiritual thing, why bother when there are other Bible version rather than KJV Bible? Why disturb the peace in the body of Christ with a personal view like VPP? Who are you to decide the Word of God? The Canon was chosen long ago, we are to accept them as inspired Word of God. Why we cast doubts into those who are reading the NIV...? I personally view that KJV must be read together with NIV, ESV...Not a single version alone! Most BPC churches read the KJV for so many years, but what happened? They keep on fighting for words, keep on fighting for minor issues, we seem like we do not understand the Bible? Our spiritual eyes are blinded by KJV, our spiritual ears are deafened by KJV, our mouths are full of dung? Even until VPP pops up! KJV creates so many Pharisees among us. Fighting for nothing? Wasting our young energy!

7. The issue of Management of doctrinal conflicts. No such thing as interdependency among Bible Presbyterian Churches. We need to check and balance. There are few pastors who are sitting in a church for too long, becoming dictators in BPC! New Synod of the Bible Presbyterian Church in Singapore will be the sole representative of this denomination. One Moderator (he is not the Pope), chosen among the ministers, should be elected by voting from members consist of various Pastors, Elders, Deacons, and various church representatives. There is one committee that oversees the welfare of the church and the member churches of the Synod. Every member church should send 6 reports to the Moderator in one year. Each Pastor oversees the matter in the local church, and elders, deacons should help the pastor to manage the local church. Every theological issue and conflict must be decided in the Synod, no one pastor decides theological conflicts even in his local church. Theologians in the Bible Colleges will be elected and decided through Synod representatives together with the Bible Colleges representatives in a special meeting. The authority of a theologian is not higher than the Synod and its representatives! Let us put our house in order. Other BPC who does not join the Synod, cannot represent BPC in any theological stand and settle theological conflicts, they are the hornets among us, fly freely, without directions for unity. One day they will be tired and fall onto the ground.

    a. There is no underground Synod like FEBC that can represent BPC located in Singapore, every Synod meeting must be recorded in black and white so that the younger generation learns from our mistakes. Timothy Tow should not have dissolved the Synod 1988, that was his mistake. Someone has to correct his mistake.

8. The issue of Division in BPC. The New Synod should consider accepting Bible Presbyterian  Churches from different backgrounds, such as Evangelical, Fundamentalist, Charismatic, and even ordinary BPC backgrounds. Even though each has its different constitutions, different theological backgrounds, we must learn to learn from one another, accept one another, all are welcome to join the Synod, it can be done. It is sad, we cannot see eye to eye, even talk to each other because of our forefather's fault, who was teaching us to be militant, to create fractions and infighting among us, this is not good for the sake of the one Gospel we preach. There will be a time, when we all come together as a family, witnessing one Lord, and there will be a time we unite to worship one God our Father. Triune God a united Three Persons, may we become like Him. We have to learn to accept minor differences among us. Even though we have started to unite, but it may take another 50 years before all of us unite under one Lord.

9. The issue of Pride. Bible Presbyterian Church (BPC) is like King Saul. Saul, though chosen directly by God and initially zealous for the Lord, is easily moved by the circumstances. He is successful against the Philistines and Amalekites, but he also does things in his own way or—even worse—in the people’s way, against the word of the Lord. As a result, Samuel tells Saul that his kingdom (1 Sam. 13:14) and even his own kingship (1 Sam. 15:23) will be taken away. The Golden Lamp Stand will be removed from BPC if we do not repent, returning to the first love for Christ, we have made a man Timothy Tow to be our idol praising his ideologies,  false theologians became our lords, and wrong motives taken over us, are we for God, or are we fighting for our pride, for our reputation or for ourselves? Fighting for KJV? For our own BPC legacy? Or for the Lord? The Lord God looks at the heart! Repent BPC, humble ourselves, rise and shine for the Lord. This time BPC is chided in a blog before it is too late when BPC is chided in the heavenly court!

10. The issue of Eschatology. Some BPC's ministers and preachers like to say "Jesus Christ will come today, tomorrow, be prepared!" To warn people that Jesus Christ will be coming soon and very soon. This saying is wrong because Jesus Christ will not return if the Third Temple in Jerusalem is not built. If today the Third Temple remains unbuilt then we know Jesus Christ will not return tomorrow. How can we say Jesus Christ will come tomorrow if the Third Temple is not built? There is no doubt, Jesus of Nazareth, the Saviour of the world, is going to return, we believe the third temple will appear before the return of Jesus Christ.

11. The name of "Christian Fundamentalist" is stinking like shit to some. Why? Theologians and preachers from Far Eastern Bible College, some Bible Presbyterian Churches located in Singapore, and some fundamentalist churches in the world have given Fundamentalists a bad name. These so-called Fundamentalist Christians are cruel and rude. Let me explain, they always talk softly and preach gentleness to us, they can preach fiery messages here and there, and so, they can easily seduce people's hearts. They are stubborn, stiff-necked because they have a strong will. They are the whitewashed tombs, outwardly they look godly, they have faces looking like an angel, they are always behaving like they are fighting for the Lord, and they are on the Lord side, and they always say they are upholding the truth in the Bible. Actually, they are very very cruel inwardly, spiritually speaking they are the wolf in sheep's clothing, I met a lot of these fundamentalists among us. No love in their hearts, no love for the neighbors, no love for the people who have a different viewpoint from them, even a little bit different also cannot be accepted in their midst, no love for people who are weaker than them! To these evil and wicked fundamentalists, what count is the truth, not any love, and what count is the reward in heaven, and not any people's life on earth. If you perish, you perish, they do not care. What they care about are their so-called "doctrines." Woe on these fundamentalists!

12. The issue of the drum. You have rejected a drum to be played in the Sunday Worship. You have looked down on those churches who used drums in worship. Having such high regard for traditional music such as the piano. This is absurd. Drumming is rooted in our earliest biblical worship traditions. The frame drum (Hebrew tof) mentioned seventeen times in Scripture is commonly mistranslated as “tambourine” or “timbrel.” The jingly instrument we know as a tambourine today did not come into existence until the Roman period, according to archaeologists and biblical scholars. The instrument referred to in the Old Testament is a large frame drum, about twelve to twenty-two inches across its face. It was most often played by women in both secular and religious contexts. Hebrew women, such as Miriam (see Ex. 15:20-21) appropriated this same drum in the worship of Yahweh, continuing to do so at least until the period of Babylonian captivity, and possibly beyond. The sound of drumming, in combination with the blowing of hollow rams’ horns (shofar), cymbals, and dancing were among the earliest ways our spiritual ancestors worshiped God. So the sound of drumming reminds us of our roots as Christians.(Click the link here) Today the Jewish people the chosen of God still play drums in worship, beware of another kind of drum mentioned by Paul in 1 Corinthians chapter 13: 1 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have no love, I am only a ringing gong or a clanging cymbal. 2If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have absolute faith so as to move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3If I give all I possess to the poor and exult in the surrender of my body,a but have no love, I gain nothing. Beware there is another kind of drum, our stomach!

13. Some Bible Presbyterian Churches do not follow John Calvin, they are not suitable to call themselves Presbyterian Church.

14. Our root and foundation is in Christ, and not John Calvin, William C Burns, John Sung. They have planted, but God makes us grow.

15. You have amended the original Westminster Confession of Faith to your like. You betray the reformers.

16. You believe in the divine, Verbal Plenary Preservation (Apographs) of the Scriptures in the original languages. You have made yourselves God, by adding words into God's Word. You have made your personal view become divine, this is a great sin, punishable.

17. You have indulged in Lawsuit with your fellow brothers in court, you have taken the Name of the Lord in vain. Punishable in heaven.

18. You have lifted a man Timothy Tow, higher than God. This is idolatry.

19. You love so much of the 15th-century Reformers, they are instruments God used, but you behave like you are living in the 15th-century. From this, repent.

20. At the time you evangelize, you continue to quarrel with your brothers in Christ, you better reconcile with your brother before you give your sacrifice to God. Stop all these nonsenses.

21. Carl McIntire and J Oliver Buswell are not perfect, do not make them perfect. Follow Christ. You have listened too much to the voice of men rather than God's.

22. You always want to be militant, but you shoot your brothers in Christ, are you blind? Who is your real enemy?

23. The Lord gives, the Lord takes, He gave one to Timothy Tow, He may take away the Bible College from you, you are to be humble to teach the Bible, not any man's wisdom or knowledge.

24. God knows who is the old fox (BPC members must understand who I mean) on earth, God can make him a saint in heaven, so you are to respect one another on earth. Do not become a fox, and follow a fox.

25. Bible Presbyterian Church does not belong to you, nor Timothy Tow or McIntire, the church belongs to God, but you have made it a temple of war.

26. You have replaced God with KJV, you have made an idol, Aaron made an idol from gold, you have made an idol from paper.

27. You have replaced the commandments of Christ, with your Church's Constitution, in this, you are not far from hell.

28. You are boasting that you are saved with your own effort, by holding on to your own wisdom and opinion like Verbal Plenary Preservation.

29. You believe in so many things in your church constitution, but most of your constitutions displeased God.

30. You wanted to be at the top of the world and you built the Tower of Babel, doctrines, and teachings of man, God will dispose of all of these idols, and bring you as low as the grave.

31. Wang Ming Tao, was a great man, but he made mistakes in his life regarding "tongue-speaking", do not shallow everything a man spoke.

32.  You did not give space for students to discuss doctrine and theological issues, you behave like you know everything, becoming God yourselves. Especially teaching of the Creation, tongue, and scripture.

33. You are not even 6 scores of age, please do not behave like a small Abraham, you do not have to have faith like him, a little faith will do, but you have cast out our brothers who have a little faith in Jesus, who are reading the NIV, in this, you are accountable.

34. Some of your pastors said on the pulpit, Christian is small Christ, but you behave like a small demon! When you are on the pulpit you are like a small god, when you come down from the pulpit, you start to punch your brothers with your doctrinal jargon. Devil!

35. You separated the brothers and sisters from becoming a family, you are holding them back, you are God's judgment on BPC, this is the way God punishes your flock by putting you there. You are the curse to them!

36. Some of your lecturers in FEBC dislike John MacArthur, but Jeffery Khoo quotes many writings from John McArthur's books, double-standard among your own lecturers, only Jeffery is right, everyone else is wrong, he is the big boss, you bow down to him.

37. Two or three BPC can become a Synod, and form a presbytery. You have nothing to say about this, nor you can be proud of yourself, and you start to attack the New Synod, in this, your family will be accountable, your father will be involved and accountable. Like father like son.

38. Jeffery Khoo, Quek Suan Yew, Prabudas Koshy, have trained many young people to follow them to attack their own brothers and sisters in Christ among the BPC, stop this, and spend more time in prayer and supplications.

39. Every day millions of people are dying, without the Gospel, Jeffey Khoo and his crooks, continue to attack one another in Christ, enough is enough. Stop writing unsound articles, kneel down and pray.

40. We are Jesus' disciples and we follow Him, we are not McIntire's disciple, or Jeffrey Khoo's disciples, when you are wrong, we have to inform you.

41. You do not forget the past and move forward, you still write and talk about the grandfather's story, the 21st century need Jesus, not your grandfather's story, remember God is in control, we have to obey God, rather than man, definitely not following Timothy Tow.

42.  Sometimes Evangelical is better than BPC because BPC likes to fight among themselves, not to evangelize the world.

43. You say you are a fundamentalist, do you have faith in Jesus? Fighting cannot end our problem, preach Christ, not our views, and always want to win in all arguments, you are the loser in the end.

44. Even though, we are BPC in name only, but we are churches that belong to God, and not your church, these are God's churches, stop belittle God's Church. You are being too proud of your legacy, especially Timothy Tow, stop praising him.

45. When Jeffrey Khoo and his crooks became proud, they see only they are the right ones, and this split the church further, this is their fault, accountable.

46. You have spent too much time writing books to defend the history and theology of the Bible Presbyterian Church, it is a waste of time, it is better to defend the unity in Christ. You bite and devour one another in BPC and despise those who have the same root with you in Christ, this is betraying Jesus Christ.

47.  You have provoked the young people to indulge in debates over words, over historical facts and grandfather story, and to defend Verbal Plenary Preservation, you are guilty in this, debating something which is not edifying the church, may your writings edify the church. Do not drag others into the mud.

48. You are not an apostle, so do not act like one, let the whole world see Christ in you. Not you, and only you.

49. When you are serving the Lord, you shall not despise any of the little ones.

50. Essentials vs. Non-essentials, verbal plenary preservation is non-essential, and Christ is the essential, those churches which are not endorsing VPP, are the church of God, not of man.

51. You have chosen a book, from its cover, you do not see Christ in other churches, what you see is their tradition, the reason, the practice, the outward appearance, in this repent.

52. The issue of pre-Millenium and post-millennium is not the issue of life and death of a Christian, let the theologian debate. All will go to heaven if they believe in Jesus Christ.

53. You have spent too much time on the issue of tongue-speaking in Charismatic, we better watch over our tongue.

54. Do not do too many Church critics, you like to criticize Christian churches, do a review on yourself. What can you find in yourself?

55. You have made your personal view as divine, in this, you made yourself as a small god in BPC.

56. Reformed Theology wants to reform life, you have used it to bombard your brothers in Christ, you are called not to debate over words.

57. David and Jonathan were good friends, but you do not want to make friends in BPC, you do not want to be peacemaker, you create more and more conflict, in this, you are guilty, punishable by the Holy Spirit, may He prick you with pain and awaken you.

58. Man is sanctified by the word of God and His Spirit, and through the Blood of Jesus Christ, not by your mouth, you cannot become another small savior in BPC, salvation belongs to God. My blog cannot save you, but to tell you, what we felt and heard from you are evil.

59.  There is no legacy in BPC, only Jesus' legacy, in this you repent.

60. If you want to debate theological stand, please invite people to debate openly with mutual bond in Bible College, but you like to invade other churches, please do not attack other churches publicly, in this blog, I have warned you so many times, it is time for you to think twice before the bad thing happens to you.

61. Your teaching does not bring rupture, but rapture to the BPC churches.

62. Some of your BPCs in the USA are repenting from their forefather's mistakes, they are returning to brotherhood, to unite with Orthodox Presbyterian Church, when they see all their forefathers did is wrong, displeasing God. Hope you learn from BPC in the USA.

63. You have stumbled the chosen people of God, the Jewish people, when they see you fighting with one another, they scorned your faith and witness on earth.

64. You said God's Word is kept pure in all ages. Let me tell you a mystery, I think I am stupid in saying this, that God has preserved His words in Alexandrian Text, Byzantine Texts, and Other Ancient Texts. God did this to test us, to see how much we love each other in Christ, but you have failed in loving your brothers in Christ. You bite one another and devour one another, in this you will be punished by the Holy God. Not only you, but also those who follow your wrong teachings, and those who promote disharmony in God's church.

65.

To be continued...

Prophet?

To be honest. In some BPCs, they called me a false prophet. I see myself as the worst sinner in BPC and dare not show my face and true identity even after so many years of writing, only anonymously. Why? Because we have lions and tigers in the Bible Presbyterian Church, we have carnal people in BPC, they will tear me apart if they know my true identity, that is why i have to write in a blog, we have hackers who will hack my accounts. Who hates me to the bone and marrow. Some have reported to Google, and i have to stop using a blog address and have to start another blog. That is why i am like a fugitive, run here and there...i am a scum in BPC.

Few people want to listen to us in FEBC and in some BPCs, that is the reason we express our views through blogs. i am ready to bring these writings to heaven if God brings me there! By the mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ.

I see BPC's Reformation Day is nearer and nearer. The end of the tunnel is ahead of us. Move on!

Let us repent of the sin of abusing the Word of the LORD!

Becoming a child, seeking the truth by faith.

These blog postings are all my personal view, i do not want to impose on anyone. If you do not want to see this blog anymore, just skip it and move on with your life.

You may disagree with me. Correct me when I am wrong.

One thing for sure, please be careful when you are called a pastor, theologian,  in BPC! Put our houses in order, do not disturb others with your false teachings.

For more than 10 years, I have shared my life and struggle with you in this blog. It is up to you to decide, what to do next.

Am I always right, not so, I find out I am always wrong, in the sense that I am still learning on the journey to understand what is happening to BPC?

Look at my poor broken English, I am fickle-minded, hot-tempered, bad-mouthed, sarcastically cracking jokes here and there, i hope the end will be good for BPC in Singapore and worldwide. Brothers and sisters live in peace and unity, together we venture with Christ, preach Christ, not ourselves! I WROTE THIS IN TEARS.

Am i better, stronger than you? No!

Am i holier than you? No!

Am i spiritual? No!

Am i wise? No!

Am I good? No!

Who am i?

A creature created from dust, trying to understand something that happened on earth, and trying to find answers here and there. I know this is a journey worthwhile to walk!

Sinful, sorrowful, and fearful...until today!

So sad to see brothers and sisters fighting with one another.

I hope one day, i may stop writing, when i see BPCs at peace with one another.

Heaven comes to us in BPC!

God help us!

Vulgar language?

Martin Luther was a great man!

Martin Luther mocked fellow reformers, especially Swiss reformer Ulrich Zwingli, and used vulgar language in doing so. In fact, the older he became, the more cantankerous he was. In his later years, he said some nasty things about, among others, Jews and popes and theological enemies, with words that are not fit to print.[1]

Martin Luther with vulgar language? It is normal for him i think.

Later Timothy Tow praises Martin Luther in his own book.

Timothy Tow wrote, "This would dismantle the glorious work of Martin Luther who broke the shackles of Rome and gave us the Protestant Faith. Therefore, what we needed today, said Dr. McIntire, was a counter 20th Century Reformation. He spoke with unction and in the power of the Holy Spirit."[2]

The greatest judgement from God for a man

Rev. (Dr.) Paul Ferguson, Pastor of Cornerstone Church in Singapore wrote:

Sometimes the greatest judgment God can give a man is to simply let him have the providential consequences of his own self-willed way.

Quoted from:

http://oldfaith.files.wordpress.com/2010/08/david-part-11.doc

My motive in writing this blog

Why the writer writes this nasty blog?

1. To chide a few theologians in Far Eastern Bible College, together with a few pastors and elders in the Bible Presbyterian Church (BPC) everywhere on earth. I met a few full-time ministers in the Bible Presbyterian Church, who are very cruel and evil. Some of them are sweet talkers, preaching biblical sermons, behaving like servants of the Most-High God. But in their hearts, there is no fear of God. Behaving like a learned disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ, mouth full of theological jargon, but their hearts are full of selfishness, greed, dictatorship, and lust. Their hearts and heads, websites, writings, preachings are full of cow dung. Without a genuine love of God. I  personally knew them, come across these evildoers in Bible Presbyterian Church taking control of the Pulpit. I pray that they may repent, before the Spiritual fire from heaven rain down on their churches. If you repent, the blessing of God will come, and the glory of God will return to your altars and pulpits. We all will be blessed, becoming a channel of blessing on earth.

Churches have many issues to tackle in the 21st century, please do not create any more childish issues in the churches, please become mature in thought, characters and attitudes. Open our minds to receive our brothers and sisters in Christ, they are Methodist, Baptist, Anglican, or Presbyterians..., learn from one another, love one another, speak in truth. God has called those who are far away to become holy, do not call them profane people anymore. Who are you to judge them? Aren't they being faithful in preaching the Gospel like you? If they are liberal, stay away from them, not every one of them is liberal, be mindful of our teachings and preachings. Be human, not God.

Am I better than any of you, no, I am using a lot of harsh words to prove i am not better than any of you. I am the worse sinner among BPC. I hope you may not curse me, because Martin Luther also used a lot of harsh words in his writings.

The motive of my writings is to promote unity among Bible Presbyterian Churches, enthusing the leaders to be humble, return to the Way, the Truth, and Life in Jesus Christ.

Nowadays, I have been labeled as "a satanic bad guy, not a spiritual man, bad-mouth cursing people,"  in writing these nasty postings, but i tell you, i have decided to write this blog many years ago until i see the answer and vengeance from God, I will not stop writing...God can bring the good thing out of the bad thing!

I pray, we will see a totally changed Bible Presbyterian Church on earth, where peace is, where the glory of God is, and where unity is, and where humbleness is, and where love is. I believe this and i pray, and in this faith, i write!

Come back to us, the Glory of God, with the Holy Spirit. Forgive us because we have been led astray by some false theologians and false teachers. We are now returning to You, God, please pardon us, we are weak, we took so long to come back to You in unity. May God help us, the BPC.

Two funerals in one day!

Timothy Tow used to say, two are confirming! Two is a confirmation, to Jeffrey Khoo. Repent from your arrogance and pride in promoting false teaching like Verbal Plenary Preservation. Do not stubborn like your forefathers in BPC!

Next will be Quek Suan Yew and Prabusdas Koshy. Signals must be sent to both of them, so that they may repent from teaching Verbal Plenary Preservation in the BPC. Until they delete every online posting regarding Verbal Plenary Preservation and stop imposing it harsher on others. You may teach VPP as an elective subject in Far Eastern Bible College, remember to say to the students, that is your personal view! That is not a doctrine!

Another signal will be sent to Charles Seet for his arrogance and pride.

Jeffrey Khoo, Quek Suan Yew, and Prabusdas Koshy's next-generation leaders will be splitting up! After these three stooges died.

FEBC is reduced into a center.

An advice

Jeffrey Khoo, Charles Seet, Quek Suan Yew, Prabhudas Koshy,

Listen carefully, you are to accept one another, Bible Presbyterian churches are not liberal. None of us is liberal nor modernist. Just a bit of pride and lust crept in us. Repent and move on.

Do not treat your brothers as enemies!

We are not much different.

We are not much better.

We are all sinners saved by grace.

Please love one another, do not quarrel any longer. Live in peace.

Let every BPCIS grow freely, do not disturb them with your arrogant writings in your journals and in your preachings. Be humble.

I wish none of you have become an idol to the young people.

Stay away from such an arrogant view like Verbal Plenary Preservation.

Be humble, pray in unity, join the new Synod.

Forgive one another.

May God help us and have mercy on us.

Yours sincerely,

An ordained Minister in BPCIS

Where is the Word of God?

The Words of God are inspired by God, given to humans, God-inspired man, and the Words were written down for us. Kept pure for all ages.

The Old Testament is well preserved.

Not many questions it, they are inspired by God and kept pure by the Jewish People. From the Jewish people, we have the Hebrew Bible or Old Testament.

The New Testament is a bit complicated to explain.

God inspired the Apostles, the Apostles written by hand, in so many copies. Distributed them to various churches in the first century.

    They were under persecution.

    There were copy mistakes.

Now we have so many variants in different manuscripts.

We have so many fractions of the manuscripts. Thank God for these manuscripts. The message is the same, The Lord Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, today, and tomorrow, He is the Living Word, and He is the Savior, and God, the Son of God. The Lamb of God.

Where is the New Testament?

The New Testament is miraculously kept pure in all ages. We have 100% of all the Word of God in our hands.

Even with so many variations in our Bible versions and manuscripts.

I believe not even one single Word of God is lost.

The New Testament is kept pure in various fractions of manuscripts, TR, fractions of Greeks text, various translations, various versions of the Bible like KJV, NIV, ESV, NKJV......

We need time to study all those manuscripts, TR, Greek Texts, various translations, various Bible versions, we have to seek and we may find. Compare them, seek the best Wordings!

No single manuscript, translation, any of them are perfect!

But we need all of them!

So that is why we must read KJV together with NIV, ESV, NKJV......

We must be humble, to read the Word of God.

The Word of God is kept pure in all ages miraculously.

I hope this will silent Jeffrey and Charles Seet for a minute.

That is why we should not quarrel about words.

2 Timothy 2:14, NIV: "Keep reminding God's people of these things. Warn them before God against quarreling about words; it is of no value, and only ruins those who listen."

May God humble us in seeking the New Testament. Do not quarrel about words!

Letter to Mr. Ko Ling Kang

In response to an article in Burning Bushing published by Far Eastern Bible College: the article can be retrieved from the address below:

https://www.febc.edu.sg/v15/assets/pdfs/bbush/The%20Burning%20Bush%20Vol%2027%20No%201.pdf

The title of the article is: THE DOCTRINE AND PRACTICE OF BIBLICAL SEPARATION IN THE BIBLE-PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH (SINGAPORE): A RESPONSE TO BPCIS. Written by Mr. Ko Ling-Kang. He is a BTh and MDiv graduate of Far Eastern Bible College and a ThM graduate of Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary. He is currently serving as Preacher at Sydney Bible Presbyterian Church in Australia.

From the above article, one can see how low is the quality of Far Eastern Bible College. Until today, FEBC is still playing with shit and dung.

Paul said, "Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ." (Philippians 3:8)

Far Eastern Bible College in Singapore is wasting time in:

1. Training young Bible College students in fighting against brothers and sisters in the same denomination. Wasting young people time.

2. Training young preachers to write rubbish.

3. Abusing the calling to preaching Christ, young people are not called to preach personal views like Verbal Plenary Preservation.

Stupidity without limit:

1. Mr. Ko Ling Kang showed how stupid he is in writing a lengthy article to defend Jeffrey Khoo, Quek Suan Yew, and Prabudas Koshy. Where is the freedom in his thinking? Still under the bondages and shadows of those three stooges?

2. Timothy Tow was not an extremist like those three stooges, he used NIV in his writings. He makes friends rather than making foolish wars in the beginning.

3. Ko Ling Kang's writing proven not all Bible Presbyterian Churches in Singapore are stupid as Far Eastern Bible College's lecturers. We do not have the same mind as Jeffrey, Quek, and Prabudas.

4. We are different in our views, but we are Bible Presbyterian Churches, here we stand, no turning back. Do not waste your time defending the separatist stand anymore. We are sick of Far Eastern Bible College. Until these three stooges repent, we will not send our members to Far Eastern Bible College.

Exhortations:

1. Repent from attacking churches in the same denomination.

2. Let the issue of Verbal Plenary Preservation die down.

3. In the pandemic, FEBC should stand up for the Lord, and encourage students to study God's word and preach Christ, stop militant moves like ISIS.

Praying for you.

Your Sincerely,

a BPC ordained pastor.

Do not play with shit

Jeffrey Khoo and Charles Seet, I warned you both not to play your shit and dung on my Bible Text.

Clean yourself so that you are approved as a laborer of God.

Go, like that Colin Wong, away from 9A, Gilstead Road, do not come back again!

Prabudas Koshy, you have given your father a bad name.

Message for Bible-Presbyterian pastors and leaders: On Schism

ON SCHISM

“That there might be no schism in the body.”
  1 Cor. 12:25.

1. If there be any word in the English tongue as ambiguous and indeterminate in its meaning as the word Church, it is one that is nearly allied to it,—the word Schism. it has been the subject of innumerable disputes for several hundred years; and almost innumerable books have been written concerning it in every part of the Christian world. A very large share of these have been published in our country; particularly during the last century, and the beginning of the present: And persons of the strongest understanding, and the most consummate learning, have exhausted all their strength upon the question, both in conversation and writing. This has appeared to be more necessary than ever, since the grand separation of the Reformed from the Romish Church. This is a charge which the members of that Church never fail to bring against all that separate from her; and which, consequently, has employed the thought and pens of the most able disputants on both sides. And Those of each side have generally, when they entered into the field, been secured of victory; supposing the strength of their arguments was so great, that it was impossible for reasonable men to resist them.

2. But it is observable, that exceeding little good has been done by all these controversies. Very few of the warmest and ablest disputants have been able to convince their opponents. After all that could be said, the Papists are Papists, and the Protestants are Protestants still. And the same success has attended those who have so vehemently disputed about separation from the Church of England. Those who separated from her were eagerly charged with schism; they as eagerly denied the charge; and scarce any were able to convince their opponents either on one side or the other.

3. One great reason why this controversy has been so unprofitable, why so few of either side have been convinced, is this: They seldom agreed as to the meaning of the word concerning which they disputed: and if they did not fix the meaning of this, if they did not define the term before they began disputing about it, they might continue the dispute to their lives’ end, without getting one step forward; without coming a jot nearer to each other than when they first set out.

4. Yet it must be a point of considerable importance, or St. Paul would not have spoken so seriously of it. It is, therefore, highly needful that we should consider,

I. The nature, and,

II. The evil of it.

I. 1. It is the more needful to do this, because among the numberless books that have been written upon the subject, both by the Romanists and Protestants, it is difficult to find any that define it in a scriptural manner. The whole body of Roman Catholics define schism, a separation from the Church of Rome; and almost all our own writers define it, a separation from the Church of England. Thus both the one and the other set out wrong, and stumble at the very threshold. This will easily appear to any that calmly consider the several texts wherein the word “schism” occurs: from the whole tenor of which it is manifest, that it is not a separation from any Church, (whether general or particular, whether the Catholic, or any national Church,) but a separation in a Church.

2. Let us begin with the first verse, wherein St. Paul makes use of the word. It is the tenth verse of the first chapter of his First Epistle to the Corinthians. The Words are, “I beseech you, brethren, by the name of the Lord Jesus, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no schisms” (the original word is schismata) “among you.” Can anything be more plain than that the schisms here spoken of, were not separations from, but divisions in, the Church of Corinth? Accordingly, it follows, “But that ye be perfectly united together, in the same mind and in the same judgment.” You see here, that an union in mind and judgment was the direct opposite to the Corinthian schism. This, consequently, was not a separation from the Church or Christian society at Corinth’ but a separation in the Church; a disunion in mind and judgment, (perhaps also affection,) among those who, notwithstanding this, continued outwardly united as before.

3. Of what nature this schism at Corinth was, is still more clearly determined (if anything can be more clear) by the words that immediately follow: “Now this I say,”—this is the schism of which I speak; you are divided into separate parties; some of you speaking in favor of one, some of another preacher,—“Every one of you saith,” (verse 12,) “I am of Paul, and I of Apollos, and I of Cephas,” or Peter. Who then does not see that the schism for which the Apostle here reproves the Corinthians is neither more nor less than the splitting into several parties, as they gave the preference to one or another preacher? And this species of schism there will be occasion to guard against in every religious community.

4. The second place where the Apostle uses this word is in the eighteenth verse of the eleventh chapter of this Epistle: “When ye come together in the Church,” the Christian congregation, “I hear that there are division” (the original word here also is schismata, schisms) “among you.” But what were these schisms? The Apostle immediately tells you: (Verse 20:) “When you come together,” professing you design is “to cat of the Lord’s Supper, every on of you taketh before another his own supper,” as if it were a common meal. What then was the schism? It seems, in doing this, they divided into little parties, which cherished anger and resentment one against another, even at the solemn season.

5. May it not be observed, (to make a little digression here, for the sake of those who are troubled with needless scruples on this head,) that the sin which the Apostle charges on the communicants at Corinth in this chapter is usually quite misunderstood? It was precisely this, and nothing else, “the taking one before another his own supper;’ ” and in such a shocking manner, that while “one was hungry, another was drunken.” By doing this, he says, “ye eat and drink” (not “damnation:” a vile mistranslating of the word, but) judgment, temporal judgment, “to yourselves:” Which sometimes shortened their lives. “For this cause”—for sinning in this vile manner—“many are sick and weak among you.” Observe here two things: First, What was the sin of the Corinthians? Mark is well, and remember it. It was taking one before another his own supper; so that while one was hungry, another was drunken. Secondly, What was the punishment? It was bodily weakness and sickness; which, without repentance, might end in death. But what is this to you? Your cannot commit their sin: Therefore, you cannot incur their punishment.

6. But to return. It deserves to be seriously remarked, that in this chapter the Apostle uses the word “heresies” as exactly equivalent with the word “schisms.” “I hear,” says he, (verse 18.) “that there are schisms among you, and I partly believe it:” He then adds, (verse 19,) “for there must be heresies” (another word for the same thing) “among you, that they which are approved among you may be made manifest.” As if he had said, “The wisdom of God permits it so to be, for this end,—for the clear manifestation of those whose heart is right with him.” This word, therefore, (heresy,) which has been so strangely distorted for many centuries, as if it meant erroneous opinions, opinions contrary to the faith delivered to the saints,—which has been made a pretense for destroying cities, depopulation countries, and shedding seas of innocent blood,—has not the least reference to opinions, whether right or wrong. It simply means, wherever it occurs in Scripture, divisions, or parties, in a religious community.

7. The third and the only remaining place in this Epistle, wherein the Apostle uses this word, is the twenty fifth verse of the twelfth chapter; where, speaking of the Church, he seems to mean the Church universal, the whole body of Christ,) he observes, “God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked, that there might be no schism in the body:” (Verse 24, 25:) He immediately fixes the meaning of his own words: “But that the members might have the same care one for another: And Whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with is or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.: We may easily observe that the word Schism here, means the want of this tender care for each other. It undoubtedly means an alienation of affection in any of them toward their brethren; a division of heart, and parties springing therefrom, though they were still outwardly united together; though they still continued members of the same external society.

8. But there seems to be one considerable objection against the supposing heresy and schism to mean the same thing. It is said, St. Peter, in the second chapter of his Second Epistle, takes the word Heresies in a quite different sense. His words are, (verse 1,) “There shall be among you false teachers, who will bring in damnable,” or destructive, “heresies, denying the Lord that bought them.” It does by no means appear that St. Peter here takes the word Heresies in any other sense that St. Paul does. Even in this passage it does not appear to have any reference to opinions, good or bad. Rather it means, They will “bring in” or occasion, destructive parties or sects, (so it is rendered in the common French translation,) who “deny the Lord that bought them:” Such sects now swarm throughout the Christian world.

9. I shall be thankful to any one who will point to me any other place in the inspired writings, where this word “Schism” is to be found. I remember only these three. And it is apparent to every impartial reader, that is does not, in any of these, mean a separation from any Church or body of Christians, whether with or without cause. So that the immense pains which have been taken both by Papists and Protestants, in writing whole volumes against Schism, as a separation, whether from the Church of Rome, or from the Church of England, exerting all their strength, and bringing all their learning, have been employed to mighty little purpose. They have been fighting with shadows of their own raising; violently combating a sin which had no existence but in their own imagination; which is to once forbidden, no, nor once mentioned, either in the Old or New Testament,

10. “But is there no sin resembling what so many learned and pious writers have termed Schism, and against which all the members of religious communities have need to be carefully guarded?: I do not doubt but there is; and I cannot tell, whether this too may not, in a remote sense, be called Schism: I mean, “A causeless separation from a body of living Christians.: There is no absurdity in taking the word in this sense, though it be not strictly scriptural. And it is certain all the members of Christian communities should be carefully guarded against it. For how little a thing soever it may seem, and how innocent soever it may be accounted, schism, even in this sense, is both evil in itself, and productive of evil consequences.

11. It is evil in itself. To separate ourselves from a body of living Christian, with whom we were before united, is a grievous breach of the law of love. It is the nature of love to unite us together; and the greater the love, the stricter the union. And while this continues in its strength, nothing can divide those whom love has united. It is only when our love grows could, that we can think of separating from our brethren. And this is certainly the case with any who willingly separate from their Christian brethren. The pretences for separation may be innumerable, but want of love is always the real cause; otherwise they would still hold the unity of he Spirit in the bound of peace. It is therefore contrary to all those commands of God, wherein brotherly love is enjoined: To that of St. Paul, “Let brotherly love continue:”—that of St. John, “My beloved children, love one another;”—and especially to that of our blessed Master, “This is my commandment, That ye love on another, as I have loved you” Yea, “By this,” saith he, “shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye love one another.”

12, And as such a separation is evil in itself, being a breach of brotherly love, so it brings forth evil fruit; it is naturally productive of the most mischievous consequences. It opens a door to all unkind tempers, both in ourselves and others. It leads directly to a whole train of evil surmising, to severe and uncharitable judging of each other. It gives occasion to offense, to anger and resentment, perhaps in ourselves as well as in our brethren; which, if not presently stopped, may issue in bitterness, malice, and settled hatred; creating a present hell wherever they are found, as a prelude to hell eternal.

13. But the ill consequences of even this species of schism do not terminate in the heart. Evil tempers cannot log remain within, before they are productive of outward fruit. Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. As he whose heart is full of love openeth his mouth with wisdom, and in his lips there is the law of kindness; so he whose heart is full of prejudice, anger, suspicion, or any unkind temper, will surely open his mouth in a manner corresponding with the disposition of his mind. And hence will arise, if not lying and slandering, (which yet will hardly be avoided,) bitter words, tale-bearing, backbiting, and evil-speaking of every kind.

14. From evil words, form tale-bearing, backbiting and evil-speaking, how many evil works will naturally flow! Anger, jealousy, envy, wrong tempers of every kind, do not vent themselves merely in words, but push men continually to all kind of ungodly and unrighteous actions. A plentiful harvest of ail the woks of darkness may be expected to spring from this source; whereby, in the end, thousands of souls, and not a few of those who once walked in the light of God’s countenance, may be turned from the way of peace, and finally drowned in everlasting perdition.

15. Well might our blessed Lord say, “Woe unto the world because of offenses:” Yet, “it must needs be, that offenses will come:” Yea, abundance of them will of necessity arise when a breach of this sort is made in any religious community; while they that leave it endeavour to justify themselves, by censuring those they separate from; and these on the other hand retort the charge, and strive to lay the blame on them. But how mightily does all this altercation grieve the Holy Spirit of God! How does it hinder his mild and gentle operations in the souls both of one and the other! Heresies and schisms (in the scriptural sense of those words) will, sooner or later, be the consequence; parties will be formed, on one and the other side, whereby the love of many will wax cold. The hunger and thirst after righteousness, after either the favor or the full image of God, together with the longing desires wherewith so many were filled of promoting the work of God in the souls of their brethren, will grow languid, and as offenses increase will gradually die away. And as the “fruit of the Spirit” withers away, “the works of the flesh” will again prevail, to the utter destruction, first of the power, and then of the very form, of religion. These consequences are not imaginary, are not built on mere conjectures, but on plain matter of fact. This has been the case again and again within these last thirty or forty year: These have been the fruits which we have seen, over and over, to be consequent on such a separation.

16. And what grievous stumbling-block must these things be to those who are without, to those who are strangers to religion, who have neither the form nor the power of godliness! How will they triumph over these once eminent Christians! How boldly ask, “What are they better than us?” How will they harden their hearts more and more against the truth, and bless themselves in their wickedness? from which, possibly, the example of the Christians might have reclaimed them, had they continued unblamable in their behavior. Such is the complicated mischief which persons separating from a Christian Church or society do, not only to themselves, but to that whole society, and the whole world in general.

17. But perhaps such persons will say, “We did not do this willingly; we were constrained to separate form that society, because we could not continue therein with a clear conscience; we could not continue without sin. I was not allowed to continue therein with breaking a commandment of God.” If this was the case, you could not be blamed for separating from that society, Suppose, for instance, you were a member of the Church of Rome, and you could not remain therein without committing idolatry; without worshipping of idols, whether images, or saints and angels; then it would be your bounded duty to leave that community, totally to separate from it. Suppose you could not remain in the Church of England without doing something which the word of God forbids, or omitting something which the word of God positively commands; if this were the case, (but blessed be God it is not,) you ought to separate from the Church of England. I will make the case my own: I am now, and have been from my youth, a member and a Minister of the Church of England: And I have do desire no design to separate from it, till my soul separates from my body. Yet if I was not permitted to remain therein without omitting what God requires me to do, it would then become meet and right, and my bounden duty, to separate form it without delay. To be more particular: I know God has committed to me a dispensation of the gospel; yea, and my own salvation depends upon preaching it: “Woe is me if I preach not the gospel.” If then I could not remain in the Church without omitting this, without desisting from preaching the gospel I should be under a necessity of separating from it, or losing my own soul. In like manner, if I could not continue united to any smaller society, Church, or body of Christians, without committing sin, without lying and hypocrisy, without preaching to others doctrines which I did not myself believe, I should be under an absolute necessity of separating from that society. And in all these cases the sin of separation, with all the evils consequent upon it, would not lie upon it, would not lie upon me, but upon those who constrained me to make that separation, by requiring of me such terms of communion as I could not in conscience comply with. But, setting aside this case, suppose the Church or society to which I am now united does not require me to do anything which the Scripture forbids, or to omit anything which the Scripture enjoins, it is then my indispensable duty to continue therein. And if I separate from it without any such necessity, I am just chargeable (whether I foresaw them or not) with all the evils consequent upon that separation.

18. I have spoke the more explicitly upon this head, because it is so little understood; because so may of those who profess much religion, nay, and really enjoy a measure of it, have not the least conception of this matter, neither imagine such a separation to be any sin at all. They leave a Christian society with as much unconcern as they go out of one room into another. They give occasion to all this complicated mischief. and wipe their mouth, and say they have done no evil! Whereas they are justly chargeable, before God and man, both with an action that is evil in itself, and with all the evil consequences which may be expected to follow, to themselves, to their brethren, and to the world.

19. I entreat you, therefore, my brethren, all that fear God, and have a desire to please hem, all that wish to have a conscience void of offense toward God and toward man, think not so slightly of this matter, but consider it calmly. Do not rashly tear asunder the sacred ties which unite you to any Christian society. This indeed is not of so much consequence to you who are only a nominal Christian. For you are not now vitally united to any of the members of Christ. Though you are called a Christian, you are not really a member of any Christian Church. But if you are a living member, if you live the life that is hid with Christ in God, then take care how you tend the body of Christ by separating from your brethren. It is a thing evil in itself. It is a sore evil in its consequences. O have pity upon yourself! Have pity on your brethren. Have pity even upon the world of the ungodly! Do not lay more stumbling-blocks in the way of these for whom Christ died.

20. But if you are afraid, and that not without reason, of schism, improperly so called, how much more afraid will you be, if your conscience is tender, of schism in the proper scriptural sense! O beware, I will not say of forming, but of countenancing or abetting any parties in a Christian society! Never encourage, much less cause, either by word or action, any division therein. In the nature of things, “there must be heresies,” divisions, “among you;” but keep thyself pure. Leave off contention before it be meddled with: Shun the very beginning of strife. Meddle not with them that are given to dispute, with them that love contention. I never knew that remark to fail: “He that loves to dispute, does not love God.” Follow peace with all men, without which you cannot effectually follow holiness. Not only “seek peace,” but “ensue it:” If it seem to flee from you, pursue it nevertheless. “Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.”

21. Happy is he that attains the character of a peace-maker in the Church of God. Why should not you labor after this? Be not content, not to stir up strife; but do all that in you lies, to prevent or quench the very first spark of it. Indeed it is far easier to prevent the flame from breaking out, than to quench it afterwards. However, be not afraid to attempt even this: The God of peace is on your side. He will give you acceptable words, and will send them to the heart of the hearers. Noli diffidere: Noli discedere, says a pious man: Fac quod in te est; et Deus aderit bonce tuce voluntuti: “Do not distrust Him that has all power, that has the hearts of all men in his hand. do what in thee lies, and Good will be present, and bring thy good desires to good effect.” Never be weary of well-doing. In due time thou shalt reap if thou faint not.
