Titus 2:3

3 Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good.

The older women must not be “addicted to much wine.” Paul’s inclusion of this item suggests that alcohol may have been an especially troubling problem among Cretan women.
